This is a simulator based on Samuel Beckett’s famous 1955 play Waiting for Godot.
I return to the play every so often. I enjoy finding reworkings and restagings. Partly because the story within is so versatile, and partly because the Samuel Beckett Estate is so aggressive in stopping versions of the play that don’t conform to Beckett’s original directions.
If the Samuel Beckett Estate is reading this, the game is a joke, honest.
Waiting for Godot: A Simulator can be played here.
If you’re interested in other iterations of the play, I recommend a 2007 performance staged in New Orleans following the destruction of Hurricane Katrina.
